COMMON INDUSTRY APPOINTS D&AD DIRECTOR AMANDA MOORBY AS MANAGING DIRECTOR

Common Industry announced the appointment of Amanda Moorby as its managing director, strengthening the agency’s offering of brand strategy and business planning services to clients.

Moorby joins after a successful seven years as partnerships director at D&AD, where she was instrumental in developing the iconic creative industry brand’s commercial offering. She helped D&AD evolve from a globally recognised awards show into a truly diversified creative business in order to support its mandate to promote and inspire excellence in commercial creativity. Moorby will bring over 18 years of experience working with some of the world’s biggest brands to Common Industry, including Google, Microsoft, Adobe and Unilever. 

Moorby will operate as managing director, reporting directly to the CEO, adding further business, creative brand strategy expertise to the team, which offers a suite of strategic communications and creative services to its clients. 

Common Industry, now in it fifth year, has seen double digit growth year on year, and the appointment of a new MD into the senior leadership team will further reinforce its offering of strategically led PR and creative services.
