Following a competitive pitch, the British Bank has appointed Engine to run a content and promotional campaign, launching in March 2018.

The campaign will be led by Engine’s customer engagement agency, Partners Andrews Aldridge, supported by Engine’s central strategy function, Engine strategy, and communications agency MHP, who have already been working with British Business Bank for the past year.

The British Business Bank exists to supply small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) with access to funding options, helping this vital part of the economy to grow and prosper. A key objective of theirs, is to provide the information that’s required to these SMEs when they’re looking for the best funding options available, be that debt based, equity based and other alternative options.

The British Business Bank supported by Engine are working on an online information hub as the most effective way to provide this service, becoming the one-stop digital location for SMEs looking for funding.

The project will include the creation of a new online content hub, supporting website content and a digitally-led promotional campaign to drive visitors to the hub.

Rebecca Simon, director of marketing and communications at the British Business Bank, says, “We look forward to working with Engine Group to deliver this exciting and innovative product and accompanying campaign. Enabling smaller businesses to find the right finance to achieve their growth ambitions is vital to the UK economy, and we hope this new resource can be a major factor in helping them do so.“

Simon Peck, group managing director at Engine UK adds, “SMEs are one of the main driving forces behind UK Economic growth and supporting them has never been more important. We are delighted to be building on our relationship with The British Business Bank to help even more SMEs prosper.”
