OnePlus, a global mobile device company, announced the partnership with global branding consultancy firm Interbrand to help the company continue its global expansion into the premium smartphone market.

“We’re excited to collaborate with Interbrand to help prepare our brand for our next phase of growth,” said OnePlus co-founder, Carl Pei. “We believe that Interbrand’s experience in brand development will enable us to share our world leading smartphones with more consumers across the world.”

Interbrand has a long history in brand strategy development, helping clients develop a robust identity that gives them the confidence to disrupt markets and make decisions. With the current smartphone market’s status quo, OnePlus and Interbrand are set to challenge the industry, shaking up customer expectations and strengthening a consumer-first position while continuing to instill community loyalty and enthusiasm.

“We’re thrilled to be working with such an ambitious and exciting brand. OnePlus is challenging the traditional telecommunication models and keeping true to their ‘Never Settle’ beliefs, bringing higher levels of respect and transparency to the market,” says Interbrand New York's CEO Daniel Binns.

Since its launch in 2013, OnePlus has seen booming growth while making significant strides in North America, Asia and Europe. The partnership with Interbrand will help the company continue to build on this strength and reach more global consumers and gain a stronger foothold against its mainstream competitors.
