ILK STRENGTHENS TEAM WITH FIVE NEW ADDITIONS
Integrated agency, ilk, based at Leeds Dock, has bolstered its workforce by announcing a variety of new appointments within its PR and digital teams as a result of a growing client roster.
Lauren Foley has joined the team as a PR account manager with Katie Bedford, Nathan Carr and Niamh Boylan all coming on board as PR account executives. On the digital team, Hanif Dawjee has joined as a senior web developer.
Foley is coming aboard with extensive digital PR experience, previously working as digital PR manager at SEO and digital marketing agency, Visibilis, and prior to that on the digital PR and outreach team at Matalan. She brings a wealth of knowledge on PR, influencer marketing and link building which will help the team increase its expertise across this growing sector of the industry.
Bedford, Carr and Boylan each join the agency as recent graduates. Having worked in the communications industry through university placements, the new execs have joined the team ready to kickstart their careers with ilk. They are all set and ready to go, learning more about the PR and communications industry and honing their skills across a variety of clients.
Senior web developer, Dawjee, arrives with a plethora of experience in website building and management through previous roles at Studio116, the European University Institute – where he undertook a university placement in Italy – and most recently the Bigger Boat where he worked on large projects independently.
Nev Ridley, ilk’s managing director, says, “We’re delighted with the new recruits who have joined our PR and digital teams. Lauren, Katie, Nathan, Niamh and Hanif are all really eager to contribute towards ilk’s growth and we are confident that they will be great additions to the team.”
