COMMUNICATE MAGAZINE LAUNCHES INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS & ENGAGEMENT AWARDS

For many corporate communications teams, employees are one of their most important audiences. Often cited as an organisation’s most valuable assets, employees are the face of the brand and have the potential to be the most passionate of brand ambassadors. For those companies that communicate effectively with these internal stakeholders, they see benefits not only in terms of engagement, but also on the bottom line.

To recognise this, Communicate magazine is celebrating achievement in internal communications with the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards. The inaugural event will highlight the impact internal communications has on a business, the role of the internal communicator within an organisation and the creative strategies developed to promote an engaged workforce.

To celebrate excellence in internal communications, a panel of internal comms experts will assess projects and campaigns, judging them on various criteria. Categories recognise both strategic and content-based achievements in internal comms and engagement, including ’Best Ongoing Commitment to Internal Communications,’ ‘Best Intranet,’ ‘Best Internal Communications in a Crisis’ and ‘Best Innovation.’

The Internal Communications and Engagement Awards is sponsored by the CIPR Inside group. In addition to the main awards, CIPR Inside will judge and recognise the recipients of the ‘CIPR Inside Communicator of the Year,’ the ‘CIPR Inside Internal Communications Team of the Year,’ and the ‘CIPR Inside Business Leader of the Year’ awards. The entry process for the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards is straightforward and all entries will be analysed by our judging panel. Shortlisted entries will be announced in March and winners will be announced at a celebratory event in spring 2019.
