DIGITAL IMPACT AWARDS 2018 OPEN FOR ENTRIES

Businesses the world over are rapidly adopting a digital-first outlook, from maximising the use of data and analytics, to the exploration of cloud computing’s vast possibilities. Yet across both B2B and B2C, consistently producing exemplary digital communications rests heavily on proficient strategy.

For nine years, the Digital Impact Awards has rewarded the increasingly dynamic ways that digital corporate communications continue to grow. Last year’s awards, as an example, played host to not only the innovative and creative ways that digital communicators are reaching stakeholders, but how such digital strategies are shaping the future of the industry. Winning projects from companies such as Northern Rail and Gatwick Airport, demonstrated just how business-critical digital communications have become.

This year’s programme aims to continue its recognition of effective digital strategies, with 40 diverse categories ranging from ‘Best use of online video’ and ‘Best corporate website,’ to ‘Best use of digital by sector,’ which includes over 15 unique industries. The awards’ judging panel welcomes over 20 industry experts, representing companies such as Allianz, Sky, Insinctif Partners and HSBC.

Andrew Thomas, publishing editor of Communicate magazine, says, “We’ve seen the Digital Impact Awards blossom tenfold over the past decade. In 2010, for example, digital was on the precipice of major development, from iPads and viral video to the government’s Digital Economy Act. Yet today, we continue to celebrate its enigmatic and often unpredictable nature. The Digital Impact Awards, however, strives to reward those championing digital solutions across communications, making innovative and pioneering steps towards transforming the business landscape for the better.”

With the awards now open for submissions, the early entry deadline is set for 4 May 2018. The last chance to save £100 on total entry cost, as well as a fifth entry for free, will be 1 June 2018. The final deadline for entries is 15 June 2018, with the ceremony set for October 2018.
