ECOWORLD INTERNATIONAL SELECTS ING AS ITS UK COMMUNICATIONS AGENCY
EcoWorld International has appointed ING to raise the profile of its rapid expansion into the UK residential market.
A publicly listed company on the Main Market of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, EcoWorld International is expanding throughout the UK and Australia.
ING’s brief will focus strongly on strengthening the presence of EcoWorld International’s growing reputation in London through its EcoWorld London business. EcoWorld London, which was launched in June 2018 as part of EcoWorld International’s 70% owned joint-venture with Willmott Dixon, will allow EcoWorld International to become a significant player in London’s mid-market sector, delivering homes for both open market sale and build-to-rent.
EcoWorld London has 12 sites in and around London with an estimated gross development value of over £2.6bn. Whether to sell or to supply London’s burgeoning build-to-rent market, the company will also actively pursue new opportunities across the region to expand its pipeline.
A key focus for ING will be to support EcoWorld London’s growth as a key player in the UK market. ING’s remit covers both supporting the corporate entity with international investor outreach, proactive media and stakeholder relations to promote the business as best in class developer of mid-market homes, through to all other PR activities to promote the success of the individual developments.
A growing 40-strong team, ING is a leading PR and communications agency specialising in the built environment, including the cultural infrastructure, architecture, property, and design sectors. The firm works with some of the largest and most prestigious names in the sector including MIPIM, Native Land, the British Council, British Land and Lendlease.
