Bubble Agency, the global PR, marketing and events specialist for the media and entertainment technology and services sectors, announced it has been appointed by Melos Publishing Services, after a competitive pitch involving three agencies.

Co-founded by two music and entertainment industry veterans, Richard Cottrell and Paul Sims, Melos has developed MusicTracker, the world’s first music tracking technology solution to help global brands ensure licensing compliance and maximise royalties for music used in their TV commercials.

Requiring a specialist full-service agency to increase visibility of the company and elevate its profile in the music, advertising and marketing press around the world, Melos enlisted Bubble Agency because of its knowledge and expertise within these sectors at a global level. As well as media relations and marketing, Bubble will also manage and grow Melos’ social media platforms through targeted campaigns.

Based in the United Kingdom and providing clients with the use of the MusicTracker tool across the globe, Melos has built impressive client partners in the past couple of years, helping various blue-chip brands including Mars, SC Johnson and Trivago in unlocking TV advertising music royalty payments through the management and expert application of data usage and music rights in each international market. Additionally, the company has a long-standing partnership with one of the largest music publishers in the world, Sony/ATV.

Richard Cottrell, CEO of Melos, says, “We are impressed with Bubble’s expertise and understanding of the advertising and marketing space, and feel they are the ideal partner agency to help further expand our brand globally. With a strong team to guide us with excellent PR, marketing and social media advice, we’re excited to bring the Melos brand to decision-makers in global brands, advertising agencies and music supervisors internationally.”
