GIVEN BOLSTERS ITS CLIENT TEAM WITH TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS

Given, the agency for purpose-driven brands, has bolstered its client team with two recent hires. Becki Rassell and Immy Feenan have been appointed client lead and client manager, respectively.

Both Rassell and Feenan have account management and direction experience from agencies including BBMG, Wolff Olins and the tree. Both new team members will sit under Lucy Smaill, Given’s client team director. Alongside Given’s strategy, creative and design divisions, the strengthened client team will help foster long-term client partnerships and ensure the objectives of Given’s clients, which include the John Lewis Partnership, Ikea, L’Oréal, Virgin Media, Aviva and Zalando, are delivered.

Rassell and Feenan bring Given’s total team headcount to 30.

Despite the challenging market conditions last year, the Given team has continued to grow bringing on new people across the business and growing headcount 20% year-on-year. The business is also seeing a growth in large scale purpose projects that create change at an organisational level across businesses. The client team is vital in providing the support to deliver complex projects that require engagement and implementation through clients’ entire businesses.

Smaill says, “The development of our client team mirrors the development of brand purpose within our clients’ businesses. It is becoming far more complex and involved and so we had a need for a more structured team to drive forward multiple work streams. We also hope our galvanised team will build further on the heritage of the agency which has grown on the strength of its client relationships – indeed it was these relationships which meant its work grew rather than declined during the pandemic.”

Rassell will primarily focus on Given’s work with John Lews and Ikea. Feenan will work on developing current and future client relationships to ensure projects are delivered smoothly.
