FLEISHMAN-HILLARD NAMED CONSULTANCY OF THE YEAR TWICE IN A ROW

Fleishman-Hillard has been named as the Holmes Report's Pan-European Consultancy of the Year for the second year running, due to its industry-leading growth at a time when many consultancies are struggling to hold steady.

The public relations news and analysis site has announced its 2011 EMEA Consultancies of the Year, with awards given for Consumer, Corporate, Financial, Healthcare, Public Affairs, Technology, Digital and New Consultancies of the Year, as well as national gongs.

The Digital Consultancy of the Year, Edelman, has its investment in digital talent and thought leadership to thank for its award: digital and social media work is embedded throughout its practices, and it acquired digital specialist Spook media in 2010 as well as bringing Richard Sambrook, the ex-BBC director of Global News, on board as head of content.

Brunswick Group was named as Financial Consultancy of the Year, with the Holmes Report citing its handling of some of the year's most high-profile issues for clients including BP and Prudential, as well as its involvement in a number of Europe's biggest deals, as influential in the decision.

Other recipients included Exposure, Bell Pottinger Group, Tonic Life, hanover, Octopus Group and John Doe, with Nelson Bostock Group named as the UK Consultancy of the Year.
