NEW PARTNER FOR APPRENTICESHIP SCHEME
Last month, the PRCA’s apprenticeship programme was left without a training provider as Pearson in Practice was officially closed down by Pearson. However, the apprenticeship programme has continued as scheduled throughout the intervening time.
Yesterday, the PRCA announced that Creative Process will be the new training provider. Creative Process has over a decade’s worth experience in the creative sector and offers existing qualifications schemes in digital media and marketing, making it well-placed to partner with the PRCA. CEO of Creative Process,
Andrew Carmichael, says, “We’re delighted to be working with the PRCA to provide training for the PR Apprenticeship programme. Ensuring a smooth transition for the current Apprentices and a continuation of the programme for those who would like to join in the future is of paramount importance to us and we look forward to growing the offering in the years to come.”
The training provider has over 200 apprentices working within its programmes at the moment and works with more than 100 companies to provide training.
Francis Ingham, director general of the PRCA says that Creative Process’ existing portfolio will allow it to succeed within the partnership. The PR Apprenticeship scheme includes around 50 trainees with 35 more to be included with the announcement of a new training partner.
