The Asia Pacific-headquartered agency has launched Sandpiper Financial, a dedicated arm focused on special situations and high-stakes financial advisory.

Sandpiper Group has launched Sandpiper Financial, a new division focused on financial communications and special situations advisory across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

The move is backed by senior hires from FTI Consulting, including Kainoa Blaisdell as Asia Pacific lead and Justin Teh as deputy. Angus Booth, Richard Barton and Kim Spear will also support the division, which expands Sandpiper's capabilities in financial, transactional and crisis communications.
