Communications teams are spending time and money on AI, but what are they getting back? AMEC AI Day London will bring practitioners together to examine the results and risks from putting the technology to work.

For communications teams, the challenge is turning AI experiments into useful, reliable tools. AMEC AI Day London, taking place on 4 November, will bring together practitioners to examine what is working and what deserves a closer look.

Speakers from organisations including Muck Rack, FleishmanHillard, LexisNexis and M+C Saatchi Consulting will explore AI’s applications in research and communications measurement. The programme spans AI agents, predictive intelligence, synthetic audiences and deepfake detection, alongside generative engine optimisation: the emerging discipline of improving visibility in AI-generated answers.

The emphasis is on experience, with sessions examining implementation challenges and the decisions that still require human judgement. Data quality, measurable value, governance and professional skills will also feature.

“AI experimentation is expensive, and organisations shouldn’t have to repeat every costly mistake to learn what works,” says Johna Burke, AMEC’s CEO and global managing director. “The value isn’t simply knowing what’s possible. It’s knowing what to do next.”

Delegates can attend in London or join virtually through the AMEC App, with 60 days of on-demand recordings included in registration. Those attending in person will also have opportunities to meet speakers and technology providers.

Registration is open here.
