Strategic communications consultancy Blakeney has appointed Olivia Smalley, former policy and communications chief at the Heat Pump Association UK, to strengthen its energy and infrastructure practice.

Smalley brings experience in energy policy, public affairs and strategic communications, and will advise clients across net zero and infrastructure.
Her appointment follows Blakeney’s recent hire of former Downing Street chief press officer Dan Mulloy.
