City of London Corporation appoints Robert Hall as communications chief

The City of London Corporation has appointed Robert Hall as executive director of communications and engagement.

Hall joins from the Home Office, where he served as director of communications for more than four years.

A member of the Government Communications Service, he has held communications roles across government during a 23-year civil service career, including positions at the Northern Ireland Office, the Department for Transport and UK Export Finance.

In the role, Hall will lead the City Corporation’s internal and external communications and engagement functions, supporting delivery of its corporate plan and wider strategy for the City of London.
