Two consultancies are joining forces, citing a planning political minefield.

Built environment communications consultancies Kanda Consulting and Concilio are merging to form what the companies describe as the UK’s largest independent agency focused on the sector.
The combined business will operate under the Kanda brand from June. Karen Alcock will become chief executive of the merged group, while Concilio founder Nick Dines joins as managing director.
