Sam Boniface is a communications leader with more than 20 years’ experience in internal and external communication across corporate, consultancy, and not for profit, and has built a career helping brands to tell clearer stories that connect people to purpose and strategy. As Communications Lead for Avon UK, Sam is responsible for creating and overseeing holistic communication strategies that drive brand and employee advocacy, while delivering continuous improvement on engagement, channel, and campaign activity. Sam brings a people first, purpose driven approach to what great communication looks like, and is passionate about work that connects, inspires, and delivers tangible impact.
Sophie Johnson is the Head of Communications & Content at Third Bridge, a leading global investment research firm. With over 20 years of experience in corporate communications, brand strategy, and content creation, Sophie plays a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s global narrative and enhancing its market presence. She is responsible for overseeing multi-channel communication strategies, including the firm’s social media presence and digital platforms, ensuring they resonate with a sophisticated audience of institutional investors and consultants.
Prior to her current role, Sophie held senior communication positions where she specialised in translating complex financial data into compelling, high-impact storytelling. Her expertise spans executive positioning, internal communications, and digital transformation. She brings a keen eye for clarity, strategic alignment, and creative excellence, drawing on her extensive experience in managing reputation and engagement for global organisations.
As Head of Group Communication & External Affairs at Bachem, Patrick Barth shapes narratives that connect business ambition with human impact, leading high performing teams that deliver integrated communication across global audiences. With senior roles at AstraZeneca, Roche, and Novartis, he has driven sophisticated storytelling programs that translate scientific and strategic innovation into messages that resonate with media, policymakers, and employees alike. During the COVID 19 pandemic, Patrick led communication efforts that ensured clarity and cohesion amid uncertainty, empowering teams to engage confidently and strengthening trust across the healthcare ecosystem. Renowned for building collaborative, purpose driven teams, he has steered enterprise-wide initiatives that elevate reputation, reinforce cultural alignment, and transform strategy into stories that move organizations forward.
Jenna Black is an independent communications consultant with 12+ years of experience across deep tech and creative industries. She specialises in translating complex AI and emerging tech products into narratives that land with press, customers, and the market. Jenna has led global comms, social, and influencer strategies across multiple markets, and advised C-suite leaders on thought leadership and executive visibility. Her edge is at the intersection of comms and the online world — where brand, culture, and content collide. Most recently, she led communications for an AI adtech platform through a full rebrand and product launch.

James is a strategic adviser specialising in capital markets communications and strategic content, with a particular focus on visual creative output. Based in London, he works with Edison Group to develop video and digital formats that help companies articulate complex equity stories with clarity and impact for investor audiences.
Edison is a global IR and communications business focused on capital markets, enabling companies to build and connect their equity story with the right investors. The goal is simple: to make sure the right investors understand your business, what you do, why it matters, where you are going next and why they should buy.
Within that framework, James focuses on using strategic visual content to reinforce analyst insight, extend the reach of research and support key capital markets moments.
Marketing and campaign leader with 15 years of experience at Adobe – the heart of creative technology powering content worldwide. She specialises in campaign & content strategy, developing high-impact content ecosystems that drive enterprise campaign strategies and translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives across channels and formats. Her work centres on elevating the Enterprise storytelling, aligning messaging, brand voice, and audience insight to create meaningful content and measurable impact.

Mark has more than 20 years’ communications experience across the public, private and third sectors. Having spent a decade in government communications, across a range of Whitehall departments, he’s also held senior roles in the charity sector and NHS. Today, Mark heads external communications in the UK for European tech leader, Sopra Steria, leading PR, public affairs and social media.
James Hotson is Head of Strategic Communications at the Bank of England, responsible for the Bank’s overarching communications and engagement strategy, and campaigns. He has worked in communications roles for around 20 years, starting in media relations and broadening across other communications disciplines throughout his career, primarily in external communications. He’s worked in health, transport, energy, legal and financial services, mainly in government and regulatory settings. He has an MSc in Corporate Communication.
Millie Hyde Smith is Director of Campaigns and Retail PR at Legal & General, responsible for customer-focused communications and brand content.
Millie leads integrated PR and content strategies that build brand, promote proposition and protect reputation. With 25 years’ experience across in house and agency roles, including a decade in the Middle East, Millie specialises in growing audiences, positioning brands in the conversations that matter, and using research and insight to create high impact thought leadership. She is passionate about improving engagement in financial services to help people achieve better long term outcomes.
Neil leads corporate communications at Iron Mountain, a global leader in information management services. He is responsible for executive communications, internal communications for 29,000 employees in 61 countries, and corporate PR and media relations.
A highly experienced corporate communications leader, Neil joined Iron Mountain in 2019 and has previously held senior roles at BT, Coca-Cola, Vodafone and Siemens in a career spanning almost 30 years. He is a strong believer in the power of storytelling to drive effective communications and business outcomes.

She has lived and worked extensively in Japan, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Asia, and the USA for both Fortune 100 brands and startups. For the past 20 years, Silvia has served & led clients, employees and business leaders by leveraging creativity and analytics while developing new services and products, equipping businesses with industry knowledge and digital eminence.
As Head of Marketing and Communications for GlobalLogic in EMEA, Silvia uses trust as fuel for her leadership style, combining inspiring programs and new channels for driving unique client experiences.
Alex Park has more than 14 years’ experience in communications, including over a decade specialising in corporate communications within the real estate sector. She has held senior communications roles at leading global property consultancies including JLL and Savills, and most recently served as Head of External Communications at global real estate firm CBRE.
In this role, Alex oversaw external communications across the UK and Europe, leading strategic media engagement, corporate positioning and reputation management for one of the world’s largest real estate advisory firms. Her work has included shaping messaging around major transactions, market insights and industry trends, as well as supporting senior leadership with high-profile media and stakeholder engagement.

Alison is seasoned communications professional, a board chair, and an award-winning, multimedia editor with over two decades of experience in journalism in Hong Kong, Tokyo, London, Milan and Paris. Alison is currently Head of Digital and Social Media Communications for Syngenta Group and was previously a Director at Alibaba Group. During her career as a correspondent she worked for The Wall Street Journal, Reuters and the South China Morning Post. She is also a judge on the panel of the State Street Institutional Press Awards Asia Pacific.
Sophie is Head of Corporate Communications for Spire Healthcare, the only FTSE listed independent healthcare group, which runs 38 hospitals and 60+ clinics across Britain, and cares for over 1.3m people a year. Her role covers annual reporting, corporate narrative, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, thought leadership, crisis comms, sustainability and patient communications, to deliver against commercial objectives and protect and promote the group’s reputation. She has shaped this new role over the last three years.
Before joining Spire, Sophie led an external communications team at the Care Quality Commission, reaching key stakeholders in 40,000+ regulated health and social care services in public, private and voluntary sectors, including advising senior leaders during the pandemic. She began her 30 year career in agency, running scientific congresses for international academia in Glasgow.
Yolanda Valery is Head of Corporate Communications at dLocal, a leading fintech powering local financial technology in emerging markets that facilitates payments and transactions. With a career spanning more than a decade in journalism, Yolanda led the social media operation of 40 language teams at the BBC World Service, before bringing editorial principles and working practices to companies like Ocado Group. She also worked as a consultant in a variety of sectors, such as NGOs, EdTech, FinTech, insurance and the media.
Clare is Head of Communications for The Gym Group plc, the only FTSE listed gym company and a pioneer of the low-cost gym sector, with a mission to break down barriers to fitness and promote healthier communities across its 230+ nationwide gyms. Her role covers all external communications, including corporate and financial communications, brand PR, ESG communications, and public affairs.
Prior to joining The Gym Group, Clare held EMEA roles at Starbucks and WeWork, having started her career in an agency at Edelman in the corporate and financial team. She has also been a mentor with The Girls’ Network since 2022, an organisation that seeks to inspire and empower girls by connecting them to a mentor and professional network.
