Often cited as an organisation’s most valuable assets, employees are the face of the brand and have the potential to be the most passionate of brand ambassadors. For those companies that communicate effectively with these internal stakeholders, they see benefits not only in terms of engagement, but also on the bottom line.

To recognise this, Communicate magazine is celebrating achievements in internal communications with the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards. In its sixth year, the event highlights the impact internal comms has on a business, the role of the internal communicator within an organisation and the creative strategies developed to promote an engaged workforce.

To celebrate excellence in internal communications, a panel of internal comms experts will assess projects and campaigns, judging them on various criteria. Categories recognise both strategic and content-based achievements in internal comms and engagement, including ’Best ongoing commitment to internal communications’,  ‘Best intranet’,  ‘Best internal communications in a crisis’, and ‘Best innovation’.

In addition to the main awards, organisations and individuals can enter the 'Internal communicator of the year',  'Team of the Year', 'Business Leader of the Year'.

*NEW for 2024* This year we've introduced four new categories. Three explore culture and purpose such as 'Best communication of corporate culture' and 'Best DE&I initiative' and to our special recognition categories, 'One to watch'.
