Communicate magazine's profiling of EVCOM and Moving Images' UK Top 50 ranking shows technology remains a tool for human connection, not a replacement for it.

If you believed everything you read online, you’d be forgiven for thinking AI had already aced the agency interviews and become the boss, spearheading creative direction and swallowing jobs in the process.

And yet, as Communicate magazine has spent recent months speaking to each agency in EVCOM’s ranking of leaders in corporate film, human perspective remains vital to the process. Across the board, agencies describe a creative process depending on human expertise, instinct and enduring relationships. 

London-based video agency BearJam Productions, for instance, says its focus for the coming year was "building longer-term relationships." In visual communications, like the world more broadly, technology for its own sake doesn't make sense without some humanity.
