Dan Gerrella, associate director at Liz Male Consulting, has been appointed 2026 President-Elect of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR).

Dan Gerrella will serve a three-year term, from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028, on the board of directors, assuming president-elect in 2026. Gerrella has worked with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) for over a decade and been a part of its board of directors for four years. 

Gerrella believes elections and debate, where the Institute's next steps can be discussed, is important for maintaining the CIPR. He thanks the members who participated in the election and voting process as well as the other two candidates, Aileen and Graham, and hopes others put themselves forward in the future. 

"I've got five priorities, with the aim of building our profile, engaging with volunteers and members, supporting our professional development and ensuring that we have a sustainable CIPR, fit for the future," says Gerrella.
