The International Public Relations Network (IPRN) marked its 30th anniversary in Porto, Portugal, with 50 members from 30 agencies discussing industry trends and the impact of AI and global politics.
IPRN also announced its move from Madrid to Brussels to strengthen ties with European Union institutions. The network has been listed in the EU Transparency Register as part of this transition.
Rodrigo Viana de Freitas, IPRN's executive president, emphasised the move's importance for future growth. Keynote speakers included Jorge Rodrigues on Donald Trump's foreign policy and Ricardo Ribeiro on AI's role in the future. The event concluded with Porto's Mayor Rui Moreira welcoming attendees and a breast cancer awareness campaign from Puerto Rico winning the campaign of the year award.
Founded in 1995, IPRN is a global network of PR agencies with members in over 100 cities across 30 countries.
