THE UK TOP 50 IN FOCUS: CASUAL

Casual came in at first place in this year’s UK Top 50 - the third consecutive year it’s worn the crown. Equally impressive was the agency’s pole position in the EVCOM/Moving Image Peer Poll. With its 20th anniversary looming next year, Casual explains what makes it different and why video is best suited to solve clients’ problems.

Give us a brief overview of your agency. What sets you apart in the corporate video space?

At Casual, we specialise in high-impact corporate video that actually connects. With over 19 years’ experience, we’ve delivered more than 20,000 films for some of the world’s biggest brands—helping them engage the audiences that matter most: customers, employees, and stakeholders.

What sets us apart is how we blend storytelling, behavioural science, and strategic thinking to create content that’s not just beautiful—but purposeful. We don’t just make films. We solve business problems through video—whether it’s helping attract talent, align internal teams, or build trust in a brand.

We’re also not afraid to challenge a brief. Clients come to us for our creative thinking, but stay for our reliability, partnership, and ability to get things done—globally, but with a local touch.

Tell us about a recent project you are particularly proud of.

Working with UICC on World Cancer Day 2025 was a privilege and a joy. UICC were launching a new, three-year campaign, “United by Unique” and wanted to communicate through the power of film that whilst everyone’s experience of living, or caring for someone with cancer is different, we are all united by it.

Looking ahead, what do you see as the biggest trends in corporate video over the next few years?

AI is transforming how we work—speeding up processes, unlocking creativity, and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. But as more content gets generated, what really stands out is what feels real. The need for authentic, human connection isn’t going away—it’s becoming more valuable than ever. And that’s where the best stories will shine.
