Give us a brief overview of your agency. What sets you apart in the corporate video space?

JB Productions is a boutique video production agency providing a highly personalised and collaborative experience for our corporate clients. We pride ourselves on working closely with businesses to craft impactful videos that truly reflect their unique vision and objectives. We thrive on building lasting relationships, a testament to which is our strong base of returning clients and the continuous influx of new projects driven by positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Walk us through the creative process. How do you take a new project from an initial idea to delivery?

For many of our clients, corporate video is a new and sometimes scary venture. We recognise this and make it our mission to provide a reassuring and transparent experience from start to finish. We focus on clear communication and proactive support, ensuring our clients feel confident and well-informed as we guide them from the first spark of an idea to the delivery of a video they are truly delighted with. Which always seems to be the case.

Tell us about a recent project you are particularly proud of.

While we've had the privilege of collaborating with numerous leading global organisations, from major tech companies and event organisers to top-tier private equity firms, and take immense pride in the success of those productions, a current project with the Royal Air Force holds a particularly special significance for us. We are currently documenting the remarkable restoration of Building 27, a site of profound historical importance as the birthplace of the integrated Air Defence System during World War II.

What makes this project truly exceptional is witnessing the dedication and meticulous care poured into this restoration by a passionate team of volunteers. Their commitment to preserving this crucial piece of history is truly inspiring, and it's an honour for JB Productions to help tell their story and capture the rebirth of such a significant landmark. This project resonates deeply with our team, and we're incredibly proud to be a part of preserving this vital heritage.

Looking ahead, what do you see as the biggest trends in corporate video over the next few years?

It has to be AI. We're currently seeing AI streamline certain aspects of our workflows – enabling a boutique agency like ours to compete effectively with larger players by optimising efficiency and cost-effectiveness while maintaining a personalised touch. And its impact will only deepen. We are constantly being bombarded with a new piece of AI to use, what we're doing right now is trying to understand what will truly help us and our clients.

Any predictions, objectives and plans for the upcoming 6-12 months?

Our focus over the next year is on strategic growth and smart innovation. We're looking to expand our reach in certain sectors which we think are calling out for more videos. We're keeping the specifics under wraps for now, but it's going to be a fun year for JB Productions!
