FLEET STREET COMMUNICATIONS CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY WITH DOUBLE CLIENT WIN
Specialist food, drink and hospitality agency Fleet Street Communications (FSC), is celebrating its 10th anniversary with two major new business wins.
FSC has been appointed by Vimto pioneer and soft drinks giant, Nichols plc, as well as hospitality technology leader, Zonal, following competitive pitch processes.
FSC’s programme with Nichols will centre around driving awareness and building its reputation as leading soft drink category experts and thought leaders within the UK grocery and out-of-home channels. This will be achieved with a strategic three-year trade communications plan encompassing a number of key focus areas including innovation and sustainability across its strong portfolio of brands.
Angela Reay, brand & innovation controller at Nichols, says, “For over 100 years, Nichols has been at the forefront of soft drinks innovation and diversification in the UK. With FSC now on board, we are looking forward to further articulating our story and future plans as the UK makes its way out of a particularly challenging time. Following the pitch process, we felt extremely excited by the prospect of working with the team at Fleet Street Communications who we immediately recognised as having the expertise to help guide us as we embark on this new stage in our journey. We’re delighted that work is now getting underway and can’t wait to see what 2021 holds.”
In addition, FSC has been appointed by UK-based and family-owned connected technology provider Zonal to deliver an integrated B2B communications and content programme. Zonal offers a comprehensive, integrated suite of technology solutions to more than 16,000 hospitality and leisure businesses across the country, helping them streamline operations and maximise profits.
FSC’s scope of work will concentrate on delivering the business’ thought leadership goals through a combination of data-led PR, and industry relevant content.
Mark Stretton, managing director of Fleet Street Communications, says, “With both of these pitch processes what really stood out was the cultural fit between us. Both Nichols and Zonal are innovative and progressive businesses with a really positive, people-centric culture, and we’re delighted to be supporting them.”
Fleet Street Communications represents some of the UK’s biggest food and drink, hospitality and leisure companies, such as Diageo, Bord Bia, UKHospitality, the Big Table Group, Fourth and Wing Yip.
