The Public Relations and Communications Association has added two highly revered industry leaders to its board of directors.

Nicole Yost, chief executive officer at Havas Just and Mark Glover, executive chairman at SEC Newgate UK have joined the PRCA board after their appointments were approved at a board meeting on 22 February.

Yost has held senior management positions at BCW, Porter Novelli and Ogilvy. Glover was the chief executive of Newington Communications between 2006 and 2021 and was last year named the recipient of the PRCA’s prestigious 'Outstanding Contribution in Public Affairs' award.

Nicole Yost says, “I am pleased to be joining the PRCA board at a time when we need to support each other more than ever. Challenges around mental health, inclusion, flexibility of working and talent pipeline are in sharp focus. I believe we can do better as an industry and learn a lot from one another.”

Mark Glover adds, “I am delighted to be joining the PRCA board at a critical time for the industry. I particular welcome the work the PRCA’s public affairs board has done in addressing transparency across lobbying in the UK and the support the PRCA is providing for agencies impacted by Covid-19. As SEC Newgate UK is now one of the most significant agencies in the UK it is great that we can contribute at a board level to our industry’s trade association.”
