SUDHA SINGH ANNOUCNED CO-CHAIR OF PRCA DIVERSITY NETWORK

The Purpose Room Founder and PRCA Race and Ethnicity Equity Board Founding Member, Sudha Singh CMPRCA, has been appointed co-chair of the PRCA Diversity Network.

The PRCA Diversity Network’s mission is to lead on setting standards on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) for the PR and communications industry.

The Network will work with the PRCA to chart a roadmap towards a more diverse, representative and inclusive industry, while also collaborating with other organisations and industry groups.

PRCA Diversity Network Co-Chair Sudha Singh CMPRCA says, "I am honoured to accept my appointment as co-chair of the PRCA Diversity Network. And am looking forward to working closely with the Diversity Council to create a roadmap for increasing representation from previously underrepresented groups."

Looking towards the future, Singh adds, "Over the next couple of weeks we will share a measurable action plan that will help bring real change in our industry. I believe it is time for action and accountability. We also hope to build on the momentum that the PRCA created by making its board more diverse and setting up REEB."

The Diversity Network is looking for volunteers in the PR and Communications industry to help contribute to the following three workstreams: Disability, Neurodiversity, and Ageism. To get involved in any of the workstreams or find out more about the PRCA Diversity Network, contact groups manager, Kyrie Abrahams kyrie.abrahams@prca.org.uk.
