COLIN JEFFREY IS APPOINTED LEAD PARTNER OF DELOITTE DIGITAL, AS THE FIRM CELEBRATES A DECADE IN THE UK
As the company reaches its 10th anniversary in the UK this month, Deloitte Digital is also celebrating the appointment of founding member Colin Jeffrey to Lead Partner, set to oversee 1,200 employees.
A founding member of consulting practice Deloitte Digital, Colin Jeffrey, has been appointed to Lead Partner at the firm. Jeffrey has been with Deloitte Digital for over 12 years, with his most recent position being Lead Partner for Consumer Consulting. He has specialised in the design and build of digital commerce platforms throughout his career.
Deloitte Digital, which celebrates its 10th anniversary in the UK this month, is part of Deloitte’s wider consulting business. It has grown tenfold in the UK over the past decade. In 2017, Deloitte Digital acquired creative agency ACNE, which has doubled its headcount in the UK in the 18 months to March 2022.
The Deloitte Digital headcount is expected to double in the next three years.
“We started Deloitte Digital in 2012 with 120 people, building digital platforms and tools at a time when consumers were more likely to access the internet from their browser rather than their smartphone. Today, we have grown to a team of 1,200 people […]” Jeffrey says.
“Over the next three years, as investment in digital continues to grow, we plan to double the headcount of Deloitte Digital to 2,400, introducing new roles across the country […]”.
He takes over the role from Sam Roddick, who says: “Launching Deloitte Digital allowed us to usher our clients into a new age of digital transformation and we continue to introduce businesses to technologies and platforms which are the genesis for new products, customer interactions and, ultimately, business growth.”
Globally, Deloitte Digital has more than 25,000 employees across 60 countries.
