ONYX HEALTH CONTINUES EXPANSION WITH TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS

The agency hopes to drive plans for “global growth” through omnichannel communications campaigns and harnessing new talent.

Newcastle-based healthcare communications agency Onyx Health has nearly tripled its headcount, from twelve to 35, over the last two years. It now makes “exciting plans for global growth”, driven by the development of omnichannel communications campaigns and harnessing new talent. Its two latest appointments are Rosie Thompson to account manager, and Modupe Ayeni to medical writer.

Rosie Thompson was previously account strategist at agency Curtis Gabriel, also based in Newcastle. Fellow appointee, Modupe Ayeni, holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Science and worked as a PhD researcher at University of Leicester, before joining Onyx Health.

Agency managing director, Trevor Pill, says: “Our new team members will enhance our scientific and medical expertise across various disease areas and clinical specialisms and bolster the account management and client liaison services we offer as an agency.

"We have exciting plans for global growth over the next few years, driven by the development of integrated omnichannel communication campaigns. As a North East based agency, we are privileged to have such a hotbed of creative and scientific talent on our doorstep. Harnessing the power of these assets will be crucial to driving our future expansion plans."
