STIR PR WINS FUNKIN COCKTAILS

Funkin Cocktails has secured Stir Public Relations for PR support following a competitive pitch process, which saw the agency win both its consumer and trade communications briefs.

Stir has been brought on board to deliver integrated comms aligned with Funkin's new 2022 ATL campaign as well as amplifying its broad range of mixers, purees, syrups and RTD cocktails.

"From day one Stir PR stood out, thanks to their insights and careful consideration of the challenge we’d set. We’re an ambitious and innovative business and so we need a team that’s not just dynamic but agile too. Stir’s response was creative, challenging and full of energy - we walked away knowing they were the partners we wanted to work with”, says Rosie Crossman, senior brand marketing manager at Funkin.

The consumer brief includes press office, influencer engagement and events all as part of an overarching creative brand campaign. Whilst trade will include press office and advertising placement in line with the brand’s ambitious growth plans for this year.

Polly Atherton, MD at Stir Public Relations, says, “At Stir we aim to work with brands that P.O.P. (Powerful, Optimistic and/or Playful) so we wanted to embrace Funkin's playful nature and deliver meaningful comms that brings to life its brand personality. Funkin already feels like an extension of our own team, and ultimately that’s the best way to deliver incredible PR results, so it’s a really exciting win for us.”

Funkin comes as the latest win for Stir Public Relations, which recently picked up PR wins with CROSSIP, Bruce's (Doggy Daycare) and Moët Hennesy UK to name a few.  Other clients include The Treasury Wine Estate, Berry Bros & Rudd, Nestle and Mayborne Group’s Tommee Tippee.
