The Event and Visual Communication Association (EVCOM) has appointed Kai Duggal as its new executive director.

Kai Duggal, who brings experience across media, technology and communications, joins as the industry faces economic shifts and rapid AI growth. He aims to strengthen ties between creative and tech sectors while boosting member support.

EVCOM represents agencies and independents, running events such as the Clarion and Film Awards. Chair Andrew Smith says Duggal's appointment reflects a renewed focus on future growth and collaboration.
