Ian Roe has been appointed CEO of Black Sun Global for the UK and Europe, a stakeholder advisory and engagement agency.

Previously partner at Brunswick Group, Ian Roe held senior roles at KPMG, Linklaters, Barclays and Lloyds Banking Group before joining Black Sun last year as chief engagement and proposition officer.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience advising global organisations in the UK, Europe and US on corporate communications, ESG, investor relations and reputation strategy to this new role. 

Roe acknowledges the challenges of engaging stakeholders in today’s better-informed environment, due to the growing influence of AI in corporate communications.
