TELECOM POSITIONING

With Mobile World Congress (MWC) only four months away, Communicate magazine has joined forces with Waggener Edstrom to hold a workshop on creating buzz at MWC and beyond.

The workshop, to be held on the 25 November, will look at some of the key communications challenges and opportunities at industry events.

Attendance is free, and the speakers include Mark Smith, marketing director, media & entertainment of GSMA, the global trade association for the mobile industry who will discuss maximising media & business opportunities at the next MWC and David Pringle, former telecoms and technology correspondent for the Wall Street Journal who'll focus on do's and don'ts for trade show media strategy. Waggener Edstrom's Herman Schepers, himself a former interim director of GSMA Europe, will provide an overview of telecoms issues likely to dominate next year's agenda.
