Industry body and marketing muscle launched for the live events industry.

The Events Industry Alliance, the umbrella group created by the three event industry bodies, Association of Event Organisers, Association of Event Venues and the Event Supplier and Services Association, today, 24th February announced the creation of LiveForm. The marketing body has appointed Austen Hawkens as CEO. Hawkens was the former deputy director of the Association of Event Organisers.

The announcement this week, made at the leading events trade show, Confex, coincided with LiveForm's first piece of commissioned research, which shows that perception and sentiment towards live events actually increased post-event.

Austen Hawkens commented, "In these digital times, our research reinforces the power and relevance of going face-to-face in whatever sectors you may operate in. This research provides all businesses a robust framework of how they can use live engage and build brand loyalty".
