Bournemouth University has been running its BAPR degree for 21 years, and is inviting all alumni and friends to celebrate at a special birthday party.

Launched in 1989, BAPR at Bournemouth University was among the first PR degrees in the country, and has been a pioneer in developing PR education. It continues to build excellent links with industry, and currently has over 250 students enrolled on the degree. Anyone who took the degree, or have been involved with the PR course at Bournemouth University in any way are invited join their Facebook Group 'BAPR is 21' or email them on bapris21@hotmail.co.uk to find out more.

The birthday celebrations are being held at Bar Rumba in central London, Thursday 25th March 2010 at 7pm. Guests need to purchase tickets in advance from http://bapris21.eventbrite.com. Tickets cost £7 which includes entry and a drink upon arrival.

The organisers are hoping that anyone still in touch with their BAPR colleagues will spread the word, and make it a 21st party to remember.
