PRCA GOES GLOBAL IN MEMBERSHIP DRIVE

The Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) have invited overseas agency and in-house communications teams to become members.

As well as existing membership benefits, PRCA international members will have use of Dartmouth House, home of the English Speaking Union. Already Best, WorldCom, Geelmuyden Kiese and Viewpoint have signed up.

TheĀ new membership scheme follows a host of iniatives that have seen fast growth for the PRCA. Last year the PRCA opened its doors for in-house teams for the first time.

"It has been an fantastic year for growth in the PRCA, with a new member joining the Association every three days." said Mark Ramsdale, head of public affairs for the PRCA. "By offering specific services and benefits to organisations outside the UK, we expect this growth rate to be exceeded over the coming 12-months."
