Internal digital comms agency Perera has joined forces with knowledge-sharing social search tool Cofacio to develop a help engine product for internal corporate use.

The web-based help engine solution is launched at this week's Chartered Institute of Personnel Development's (CIPD) annual conference, and includes functionality designed to motivate employees within organisations to get and give help.

The new tools are designed to enable employees to search for information internally and then establish the contacts and networks needed. The peer-to-peer learning approach relies on web 2.0 technology to encourage knowledge sharing within the enterprise environment.

Perera's MD, Paul Squires, commented, “Cofacio is a platform that can truly transform organisations, and help to deliver the 'open culture' that many internal comms professionals work hard to create."
