REDESIGN, REBRAND, AND RELOCATION FOR MCM CREATIVE GROUP

Mcm creative group, a Hammersmith-based design agency, yesterday unveiled a new image and brand refresh to correspond to its new direction as a marketing communications agency. This focus is reinforced through the new strapline ‘communicating, creatively’.

Identifying a corporate gap between creative concept agency and technical production company, the reimagined mcm creative group encompass corporate events, experiential activation and film production. An updated website highlights its work with brands such as Coca-Cola, John Lewis and Morrisons, showcasing a Morrisons retail Christmas press show, and its design and implementation of the John Lewis 150 anniversary event.

As well as an image refresh, there have also been a number of internal changes within the group including three appointments to senior positions. Mark Nicholls joined mcm as creative director in July, while earlier in the year Brendan McCaul and Karen Evans were brought onboard as creative services director and client director respectively.

Lizzie Carver, client services director, says, “This is a very exciting time for mcm. The business has gone from strength to strength with the increase in talent, a considered approach to delivering our three year strategic objectives and some excellent new client partners that have chosen to work with us. Our new environment and strategic hires marks the start of a new era for mcm and we can’t wait to see what the future brings.”

To complete the brand refresh, the company has also relocated to new offices in South Avenue Studios in Kew, South London. Mcm will no doubt be hoping to recreate the financial success of the past 12 months, which has seen a net profit increase of 42%.
