Tokamak Energy unveils a new purpose and brand identity, as the fusion energy company hopes to “accelerate its journey” and attract investment.

Fusion energy company Tokamak Energy has articulated its new purpose, vision and values, following its partnership with consultancy Bright Space Communications. The rebrand is hoped to resonate with a broader audience and potential investors.

The company’s new purpose is summarised as ‘looking to protect the planet and ensure a readily available energy source for all’ and hopes to reposition the brand for a global market with a new corporate narrative and visual identity. Tokamak Energy uses tokamak technology, paired with superconductor magnets, to produce sustainable fusion energy.

Chris Kelsall, Tokamak Energy CEO, says: “Our new branding, alongside our clearly articulated purpose, vision and refreshed set of values, will help guide our people, partners, communities and stakeholders, as we accelerate our journey to pioneer commercial fusion energy.”

Ian Firth, principal at Bright Space, says: “This was a really exciting project to be involved in.

“This identity brings together the energy of fusion and the approach of a distributed delivery network through spherical tokamaks to help Tokamak Energy communicate the importance of what they do to a wider audience.”
