INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS AND ENGAGEMENT AWARDS 2023 WINNERS ANNOUNCED

After a dazzling ceremony, the winners of the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards 2023 have been revealed, setting the standard for excellence and ingenuity in internal communications.

Widely considered to be the most valuable assets of any business, employees sit at the very heart of corporate communications. The Internal Communications and Engagement Awards recognises where internal communications has been integral to building, maintaining and supporting employee relationships, wellbeing and engagement.

“Each year, entries to the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards only get more impressive, and this year has been no different," says Andrew Thomas, founder of the Internal Communications and Engagement Awards and publisher of Communicate magazine. "This year’s entries have been truly outstanding, clearly reflecting the growing creativity, innovation and care being poured into internal communications.

“All our winners set the standard for excellence in internal communications. A huge congratulations to everyone taking home an award.”

With categories including ‘Best use of storytelling’, ‘Best use of data’ and ‘Best use of video and animation’, the awards encompass the full breadth of creativity and innovation taking place across the industry.

This year, Unilever and MGA snapped up gold awards in categories ‘Best internal communications campaign across multiple markets’ and ‘Best use of storytelling’, while Camelot took home golds for ‘Best alignment of internal communications with external messaging’ and ‘Best use of data’, as well as winning ‘Internal communications team of the year’.

The prestigious Grand Prix award went to British Transport Police and H&H for the campaign ‘A force on the move’, launched to target and transform a mood of declining morale and scepticism within the organisation. Judges were struck by the “purposefulness” behind this “standout entry.”
