ONYX HEALTH NAMED TOP 100 FEMALE-LED BUSINESS

Healthcare communications agency Onyx Health, founded by Karen Winterhalter, has been included in the E2E Female 100 list which celebrates female-led businesses.

Newcastle-based communications agency Onyx Health, founded by Karen Winterhalter, has been named in the E2E Female 100 list of top female-led businesses. This comes as the agency, which specialises in healthcare communications, continues its expansion with a recent partnership with Foot Science International to launch a new medical education initiative. The agency’s portfolio also includes Bayer, Clinigen and Nova Laboratories.

The E2E Female 100 has been released association with The Independent and in partnership with IWG. Those featured in the 2023 E2E Female 100 list are independently verified by data from Experian and Go Live Data.

“I’m thrilled that our hard work and business success has gained recognition as a part of E2E Female 100 as a women-led business,” says Winterhalter. “This not only an outstanding achievement for us as an agency but, as a north-east based business, it demonstrates the major contribution the region is making to the economy, particularly within the healthcare, life sciences and pharmaceuticals sector.”

Founder of E2E, Shalini Khemka CBE, says: “To see so many extraordinary multigenerational women in the top 100 from a host of innovative sectors is a testament to the amazing work so many women are achieving, daily.

“From vegan kitchens to finance and leadership, the diverse range of businesses which have not only been founded survived or thrived during the pandemic is incredible. Each and every person on this list should be incredibly proud of what they have achieved and will continue to achieve in the years to come.”
