Helen Anderson currently leads the Marketing and Communications team at the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a membership and awarding body for over 44,000 Wealth Managers, Asset Managers, Investment Managers and Financial Planners around the world.

Previous to that she was Director of Communications and Events at the US Chamber of Commerce looking after the interests of businesses across the transatlantic corridor; from 2009-2015 she led the Marketing and Communications function for the City of London Corporation’s 14 Open Space Trusts, which included a rebrand of some iconic sites around London such as Epping Forest and Hampstead Heath. From 2005 – 2009 Helen was Head of Events and Communications for the Association of Town and City Centre Management, an organisation sharing best practice for centre managers and place managers around the world, during which time she launched two world congresses, a new Place Management Institute, an academic Masters programme and an EU funded project across the UK.

Helen started her career at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) where she delivered a programme of over 100 events per annum for property professionals around the world and launched the RICS brand in China in 2005.

Helen has a Masters in Leadership and Management, is a Fellow and on the Ethics Committee of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, is on the Advisory Panel for GamCare, a guest lecturer at Greenwich University and Vice Chair of a School Governing Body.

David is Director of Customer Excellence for MyCSP, a pensions company that looks after the retirement benefits of 1.5million people.

Prior to MyCSP, David worked for Circle, the Hyde Group, Shop Direct Group and the Coop. At Shop Direct, he managed the communications of the merger of Littlewoods Home Shopping and Great Universal, and the sale of both the Littlewoods stores and the Index retail store businesses.

Lee also sits in MSF’s international digital decision-making platform and previously promoted flower shows at the Royal Horticultural Society.

Rupert was previously Global Marketing Director at Cambridge University Press, and held senior roles at Arsenal F.C. and FIFA. He has over 20 years of global experience across, sales, marketing, media, digital, data and branding.

Annie Newman

Annie has been Senior Digital Content Editor in GSK’s Digital communications team since 2017, after over a decade spent within various roles in GSK’s communications function.

As owner of digital content and strategy for GSK’s ‘Trust ‘agenda, she is accountable for driving GSK's reputation (corporate reputation, global health, and inclusion and diversity​ focused topics) through their internal and external communications channels. In addition to this role she leads GSK’s LGBT+ employee network, Spectrum, which was named 'best LGBT network group' by Stonewall in 2019. 

Annie started out her career as a documentary maker and professional musician before making the move into communications, specialising on editorial strategy for GSK.

Outside work, Annie volunteers as Head of engagement for the Proud Science Alliance, a not for profit independent organisation that brings together a collective of LGBTQ+ employee networks in the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. Her leadership in the area of LGBT, recently saw her named as an LGBT+ Future leader in the OUTstanding LGBT+ role model list.

Before Wardour she was The Sunday Times’ City Diary editor and small business editor; financial services correspondent at the Mail on Sunday; launch editor of Associated Newspapers’ Money Magazine. After a stint as the Daily Mail’s City News editor, Claire was lured to the world of free newspapers as part of the management team that launched CityAM. She then ran the editorial operation for newspapers in 21 countries at Metro International.

Jonathan Sedger

The last five years have seen Jonathan become synonymous with video and immersive content in the business world - he’s directed video content around the world and was an early adopter of 360˚ and VR (Virtual Reality) formats.

He now leads content strategy at Vismedia, where he consults clients on the application of emerging digital mediums including interactive 360°/3D web content and VR/AR.

Arno Schikker MSc MA is a communications professional with 25 years of experience working in an international B2B environment. He started his career at Royal KPN as Marketing Manager of the company’s initial portfolio of internet access and webhosting services for the business market. Following this period in which he witnessed the widespread adoption of the Internet, Arno decided to join Lucent Technologies as Global Marketing Manager for the company’s Wi-Fi products. After being self-employed for a number of years and having worked for tank terminal operator Royal Vopak, he joined global dredging and marine contractor Royal Boskalis Westminster in 2008 as Manager Corporate Communication.

Chris leads London’s representation in the global Active Citizens Worldwide network and spent time seconded to the Mayor of London’s Community Sport team.  Previously, he managed the Media and PR brief for the national gender equality charity, Women in Sport, where he led the development of the inaugural Women’s Sport Week campaign and the national Transforming Sport event in partnership with central government.

Major projects in the time include the TUPE transfer of 3,500 people and simultaneous wind-down/wind-up of two companies, the launch and maintenance of the world’s most engaged Yammer network, and scripting + content managing companywide awards events. A former newspaper journalist, he’s previously worked in Internal Comms at Crossrail and Ladbrokes. He loves trains, but is not a spotter. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
