PICK AN AWARD, ANY AWARD

It’s the final call for entries to the AMEC, CIPR and IVCA award schemes.

The Spring communications award season is nearly over and if you weren’t fortunate enough to win one then it probably meant you didn’t enter. But don’t despair, there are plenty more opportunities in 2009, although the deadline for entries for the Autumn batch is coming up fast. Here are the deadlines for the various awards.

The annual awards of AMEC (the Association for Media Evaluation Companies) recognise and promote best practice in communications planning, research and evaluation. The entry deadline is 8 July. Enter here.

The IVCA Clarion awards recognise best practice in communicating the importance of CSR, diversity, sustainable development, social inclusion and ethical debate. IVCA wants entries submitted by 10 July. Enter here.

The CIPR holds a succession of regional awards that recognise excellence and reward achievement in public relations and communications. It isn’t one single event but instead a series of 13 regional awards ceremonies. Entries, however, are coordinated centrally, and forms can be downloaded here.
