NEW LOOK LAUNCHES A MODEL APPROACH FOR ENGAGING EMPLOYEES

New Look has put a call out to its employees to find a cover star for the launch of a new internal magazine.

The fashion store chain – Britain’s biggest retailer of women's footwear, dresses and denim – has appointed Summersault Communications to produce the publication on a quarterly basis. To start the campaign rolling, New Look will give one member of its staff the opportunity to be a cover model for a day. Open to all staff, the competition offers one employee the chance to win a coveted photo shoot, complete with a stylist and make-up artist, and have the honour of appearing on the first ever front cover of the magazine.

The launch of the magazine, ‘Gem’, coincides with big global expansion plans for the company. New Look, with 612 stores in the UK and Ireland, and a presence in France, Belgium, the Middle East and Russia, has recently announced openings in Ukraine and Poland, and stated intentions to break into the Baltic countries, as well as China and India over the coming five years.
