Business and communications intelligence firm, Cision, announced yesterday that it has developed a self-service broadcast media monitoring capability.

The new functionality has been integrated into CisionPoint – Cision’s web-based PR software platform, and will enable users to monitor television and radio broadcasts. The tool provides the ability to perform self-service searches of TV and radio coverage within hours of the live broadcast. Keywords are chosen and CisionPoint then search their database of 130 UK national and local TV and radio stations as well as the US national, cable and local stations.
