WINNERS OF THE IVCA CLARION AWARDS NAMED

Streaming Tank and the drpgroup are celebrating after winning the top accolade at this year’s IVCA Clarion Awards.

In a break from tradition, the two organisations were named joint winners of the IVCA Chairman’s Award. Streaming Tank had earlier won the Charity & Social Enterprise category for its ‘Starbucks Love Project’ for the Starbucks Coffee Company while the drpgroup had won the Corporate Communication category with its series of events ‘The drpgroup Thirty 30’s’ produced for and by the drpgroup.

Meanwhile, Stanley Fink, chairman of Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) and Camila Batmanghelidjh founder of The Place 2 Be and Kids Company were honoured with an IVCA Champions Award, an award given each year to those individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and achievement in tackling social exclusion, environmental issues and social responsibility.

Now in their eighth year, the IVCA Clarion Awards are recognition of excellence in communicating the importance of CSR, diversity, sustainability, community development, ethical, health and welfare issues in the public, charity, social enterprise and corporate sectors.  This year the ceremony, held at the BFI, Southbank in London was attended by leading representatives of the corporate communications industry, the media and leading commissioners and clients.

As well as the Chairman’s and Champions Awards, the awards saw prizes awarded in 12 other categories. For the list of winners, visit www.ivca.org.
