The PRCA Awards 2011 took place last night, 15 November, celebrating the best in PR. There were 29 award categories recognising excellence from campaigns, teams and individuals.
The Campaign of the Year Awards went to Gong Muse in the agency category and Barclays for their in-house campaign.
The In-house Team of the Year Awards went to 02 and Derbyshire County Council in the public sector. The awards for Consultancy of the Year were categorized by size, showing recognition of the small, medium and large agencies which make up the industry. These awards went to Bondy Consulting, Mischief PR and Nelson Bostock.
Francis Ingham, chief executive of the PRCA says, “The calibre of entries at last night’s PRCA Awards is testament to the strength of the PR industry and the incredible talent of those who work in it.’’
The ceremony was held at London’s Park Lane Hilton and hosted by comedian Rufus Hound.
