PRCA OFFERS NEW MODULES FOR IN-HOUSE COMMS TEAMS

On 30 August, the PRCA launched newly designed qualification modules for in-house PR and communications representatives. The PRCA has offered training and qualifications courses since 2009 following interest from its members.

New courses will address feedback from members to provide training in new areas including Stakeholder Relationship Management, Budget Management and Event Management. The modules focus on skills necessary to in-house communications experts as well including the development of abilities in crisis management, digital and PR writing.

“This is a well-rounded, detailed, and important qualification – the Board designed the content to ensure in-house teams can deal with any opportunity or crisis in an exper manner,” Dick Fedorico, the co-chair of PRCA’s Qualifications Board says.

In-house qualifications will cater to a large portion of the PRCA membership and produce expert-delivered modules and courses. The PRCA represents more than 70 in-house teams worldwide. Courses can be taken either online or in full- or half-day options. The PRCA also offers internship schemes and qualification courses from basic foundations to a diploma module.
