LISSTED GOES LIVE WITH TREND ANALYSIS FEATURE
Lissted, a site hosted by Real Wire that connects journalists and communications professionals through a Twitter-like feed, has just added an analytics element to its list of features.
Lissted, which launched its Twitter-based chat function just last week, has built up a database of over 13,000 journalists and news outlets available for monitoring by users. As the site already enables companies to track mentions in the press and on social media sites, adding live data analysis will make Lissted a one-stop-shop for comms monitoring. The new analysis feature is driven by Lexalytics’ Salience Engine which can assess the tone of a tweet.
Stephen Waddington, former MD of Speed Communications, says, “Lissted has the potential to modernise media relations and make it far more efficient. But for me it’s the real-time insight into conversations that is the most powerful.”
Lissted tracked the release of the iPhone 5 to test both the chat and analysis features. It was able to track 12,000 Apple-related tweets and analyse their overall tone across a two-day period.
