TRAVEL COMPANY IS GOING PLACES WITH REBRAND
This week, East London will be overrun with travel agents, travel companies and tourism bureaus as the World Travel Market takes over the ExCel Centre.
In time for the 5-8 November conference, Kuoni Group Travel Services launched a restructuring of its subsidiary brand identities. The hundred-year-old travel company redesigned its branding after acquiring GTA, its B2B-focused, independent travel offering, in 2011.
The new looks highlight Kuoni’s experience and authority in the travel industry and will allow both the GTA and Kuoni Group Travel Experts to differentiate their services.
Rolf Schafroth, CEO of Kuoni, says, “New looks for GTA and Kuoni Group Travel Experts strengthen our already powerful proposition. Behind them remains the heritage of two global companies with more than a century of experience between them. Our fresh imperative addresses the particular market forces influencing customers.”
The travel industry has played host to several rebrands over the past months. Most recently, Spanish hotel chain Fiesta rebranded as the Palladium Hotel Group to coincide with its expansion. The Mr and Mrs Smith chain in Britain rebranded to Smith Collections in order to incorporate its subsidiary brands under the same umbrella.
The Kuoni Group also won a silver award for best SEO for corporate communications at last month's Digital Impact Awards.
