SHORTLIST REVEALED FOR TRANSFORM AWARDS 2013

The shortlist for this year’s Transform Awards was announced tonight by Communicate at an exclusive reception. This year attracted the largest number of entries since the origin of the awards in 2010 and they were of a notably high calibre.

The companies included on the shortlist have all have seen significant improvements since the transformations of their brands. The financial sector was well represented with Bank of Scotland shortlisted for best rebrand following an aquisiton or merger and HSBC for the categories of best branding guidelines and best implementation of a rebrand accross multiple markets. From the charitable sector, notable entries include Cancer Research UK, shortlisted both for its visual identity and copy style as well as for best rebranding from a charity, and the Donkey Sanctuary, shortlisted for its brand evolution and best rebranding within the charity sector.

"The Transform Awards get bigger and better every year, 2013 will be no exception," founder of Communicate magazine Andrew Thomas says. "More importantly, so does the calibre of European rebranding. We’re delighted to be the fulcrum at the centre of that excellence."

Transform Awards maintains its prominent stance as Europe's only dedicated celebration of rebranding, repositioning and brand transformation. It presents a key opportunity to showcase exciting rebranding stories that bear witness to the startling results that can be rendered by organisations transforming their identities. The awards are multifaceted and assess excellence in diverse areas of branding including visual identity, brand architecture and internal communications as well as highlighting entries within particular sectors and from different regions.  

Winners will be announced at a ceremony dinner on 19 March at The Brewery in London.
